What is Bag-2-School?
Bag-2-School is a free fundraising scheme, established in 1999, for anyone wanting to raise funds using a resource EVERYONE has got in their wardrobe – unwanted clothes. They work in partnership with Schools, Businesses, Community Groups, Local Councils and Charities to help them raise funds from your donations. They operate throughout the UK; collecting and selling your unwanted textiles to importers and wholesalers in many countries of Eastern and Western Europe, Africa and Asia. All to benefit the Circular Economy.
How does it work?
Bag-2-School will arrive at Highfield Primary School to collect the bags on 20th November 2019. Their driver will load the bags directly onto the van. The collection is then weighed and they send the school a cheque.
How can you help?
On Thursday 31st October your child will be coming home with a charity bag. You can help by donating any unwanted clothes. Simply place the clothes in the charity bag and return them to the school by Friday 20th November 2019.
